We bought a 2024 Atlas Cross Sport in July of 2024. In February it failed to start and was towed to the dealer. Wheeling VW provided us with a loaner car while they worked with VW Corp to figure out how to repair our vehicle. After 30 days of no progress from Corporate, we decided that per WV law we would prefer a buyback of this vehicle as we were now afraid of its safety and reliability. We started the paperwork process for the buyback. After 60 days and still no progress with VW Corp, we started looking at Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Audi, and Volvo, just for starters. When it came down to it, we could not find better staff to work with, than at Wheeling VW and they were local; regardless of how VW Corporate was treating us. Then as time passed and the tariffs were a threat, we were concerned about the equity we were losing while waiting on VW Corp. Then we saw the Avocado Green on some of the 2025 models, researched our situation, and decided to purchase the fully loaded 2025 Atlas Cross Sport while we could find what we were looking for prior to the possible inclusion of tariffs. The staff at Wheeling VW was able to locate what we were looking for, got it in and we bought it. We are assuming that once VW has completed the buyback process, we will be able to pay off the 2025.
